Evie iPhone App

Lately it seems that no matter where you are there is some law that prevents you from getting full use out of your iPhone. You’re in you car and want to listen to some tunes; hands free driving – how will you find your playlist? Maybe you need to call into work and let them know you’ll be a little late because of the horrendous traffic jam? How can you manage to get into your contacts, scroll to your jobs entry and call them without risking that ticket?!

Worry no more, thanks in part to this neat little iPhone App, Evie. Evie is a voice-controlled app that will help keep you connected whenever, wherever you are… and the best part is that it’s all hands free!!

Here’s how it works: Basically, Evie recognized your voice then it searches through it’s database of keywords to connect your request to it’s system. So whether you want to search through your phonebook, play something out of your playlist or even scour the internet using your GPS for the nearest local business information.

• Want to hear the “Slaughterhouse EP” – just say “Play Slaughterhouse EP.” Trying to set the mood Just tell it to “Play some Sade.”
• You want to call your lady friend and tell her not to wait up tonight – just say “Call Jolie” or “Call 1-347-555-3456.” 
• Last minute dinner date? Pff, just tell it where you need to be and it will point you to the nearest location without having to dial in all those coordinates or nearest cross streets. Can it get much easier?
• Oh, and did I mention that you can listen to your Facebook stream while you drive? I know a quite a few people who are going to pick this app up for that feature alone!!
