Today marks the release of Dave Patten’s brand new album “Gone”. And if you’ve been a regular at Leftover Cake, you’ll know that Dave is constantly working and developing his talents on many levels. This kid possesses an incredible amount of ambition and drive — whether he’s filming videos, writing and producing music, recording, touring or anything else that he does in his day to day, it’s like he never sleeps.
Gone is a 13 tracks album that’s entirely produced by Dave except for the songs “The One” (ft. Meek Mill; Produced by Jahlil Beats) and “Believe Me” (ft. Meek Mill; Produced by Sap). The album features a blend of tracks to touch every emotion and people from every walk of life: songs of fun, songs of frustration, songs of humor and songs of heartbreak. There’s even a dubstep influenced type track on here…
Anyway, I highly advise that you to check out more of his material if you’re not previously familiar with it. If you’re already on the bandwagon or you just jumped on at this junction, I even more so recommend heading over to Amazon or iTunes and picking the album up for yourself… Hell, buy one for your girlfriend, too (chicks dig that kind of stuff man!!). You won’t be disappointed.
