Jaz was born in Dallas, TX. He grew up in East Dallas Projects Fraziers Courts along with his mother and 4 other siblings. After the death of his mother he began to write poetry to express himself but quickly put music in the backburner to pursue basketball. After graduating from high school in 2007 he attended Paul Quinn College in Dallas, TX. After a short break Jaz returned and released his 3rd solo mixtape “Bars & Academics” then later releasing “Only Time Will Tell†in 2010.Jaz’ obvious talent and style is unmatchable and he is determined to leave his mark in the industry. He isn’t your typical “Dallas” rapper, so don’t be quick to judge .Jaz is not only a rapper/lyricist, he’s also a student of the game. He believes that u have to practice greatness to be GREAT. He is currently working on “Untold Stories†which will be released in May of 2012.
