With influences ranging from The Fugees to Nirvana, Ricky Rude is quickly making headway as the troubadour of South Jersey, blending his eclectic tastes into a style all his own. Developing his lyricism though lengthy freestyle sessions and local battles, Ricky quickly gained a buzz in his home state, leading him to work alongside notable producers such Cardiak and Cool & Dre. As a songwriter, Ricky doesn’t hold any punches, crafting songs of ambition and perseverance from an honest perspective, often leaving listeners with a transparent view of the rebel MC’s psyche.
