Staten Island, the breeding grounds of The Wu Tang Clan, Keith Richards, Gene Simmons, Mack Wilds, and now Electric Bodega. The duo Electric Bodega, composed of Mike Cash and DJ Klutch, will be releasing a song a day until Friday as part of a campaign sponsored by 2DopeBoyz, titled Thank You 2DopeBoyz. This campaign is an ode of appreciation for all that 2DBZ has done for the music culture as a whole, in terms of breaking new artists.
Closing out the Thank You 2DopeBoyz Campaign on Friday, and having just 1 release left after this release, Electric Bodega remixes “Trophies” by Drake. There have been mixed reviews about the OG version, and Electric Bodega definitely beefs it up with steroids. The final build-up on “Trophies” is insane, and the duo closes out the final drop in normal Electric Bodega fashion. This has been a busy week for the duo, their Beyonce and Troy Ave remixes have seen some incredible press, and has Twitter buzzing along with sites like Complex and Hypetrack.
