Back to business.
Last month I got a leak in the mail from the team behind up and coming Brooklyn alternative-rapper OnCue and I was floored. That track was titled “Crashing Down” and was the first in a series of leaks leading up to his album “Cuey Sings the Blues.” Let me be the last to say that (since it leaked over a month ago and I don’t check my email as often as I’d like) if it weren’t for that song, fans of this site would miss out on some gold. From the Dave Mathews Band sample to the soulfulness of the lyrics, I felt a connection to the artist as well as what he felt penning the track. So don’t sleep on this Brooklyn dude!
Check out the video for “Crashing Down” below and download the single. His newest song “Friends” which takes a slightly different route artistically speaking but contains just as many brain-tingling thoughts on life just leaked this past Tuesday and is also available below.
