Fresh off a slew of live dates across America, New Orleans-bred, L.A.-based producer/deejay Quickie Mart presents the aptly-named It Just Don’t Stop, a free mixtape of some of the underground’s most influential tunes, remixed Quickie Mart style. In the last two years alone he has released three volumes of the Haze Diaries mixtape series with rapper Gotham Green, featuring Freddie Gibbs and Planet Asia. Gypsyphonic Disko, his klezmer/New Orleans bounce/hip-hop fusion project with Ben Ellman of Galactic, was included in Nerve.com‘s Five Albums You Should Be Listening To Right Now, and his Brain Salad Surgery mashup tape was released in late 2009.
