After two long years of waiting for veteran Kansas City Emcee MilkDrop to release a new project, we, at Datura Records, have a great release for you just in time for the Holiday season in Poet At Heart D Sides. These songs are a prelude to what you can expect to hear from the blue collar wordsmith going forward in his journey to perfect his craft and share his honest rhymes with those who choose to listen. The 1st part of the Poet At Heart collection is a set of audio journal entries delving into the life of the pensive writer. Encompassing the raw emotions, struggles, and celebrations that occured throughout the two year process of creating these albums. D Sides, eventually evolved and created a cohesive synopsis with an introspective vibe. Sparking its’ own identity separate from the upcoming Poet At Heart LP, D Sides, holds an underlying story of life, love, and self reflection in just seven songs. After releasing the lead single, “As The World Turns”, for the project to great success in early November, D Sides, in its’ entirety is now ready for the masses.
