Southern California emcee Thoughtsarizen teamed with Ariano to proudly unleash the Destructive Love EP for free— or donation—download, now available via www.destructivelove.com.
The duo, which will follow up with a sequel to the concept EP in the Spring, shot a video for the first track laid down, “This Ain’t Living,†which serves as the EP’s single and initial inspiration to record a joint release.
“Ariano brings the more human side of music to the forefront,†said Thoughtsarizen of the collaboration. “Listeners I hope take
away a different viewpoint or a relatable tale and, of course, good music.â€
Featured artists contributing to the EP include Rakaa from Dilated Peoples, Pacewon of The Outsidaz, Akrobatik and LDontheCut of Technicali sound.
“A lot of people giveaway free music because no one wants to buy it and they don’t feel comfortable selling. You can tell that it’s a free record,†said Ariano. “With this record, you get artwork, video, presentation behind it. It’s cool that there’s that focus, that the album is focused.â€
A limited CD pressing is also available, which includes immediate digital download on their BandCamp site.
