Critically-acclaimed filmmaker Will Feagins, Jr. teamed up with Clan Destined to capture the feel of the duo’s track-turned-interlude “The Language, Pt. 2”. Clan D picks up where they left us with their debut album ABBRACADAMN!!! and took to the turntables to scratch their vocals back and forth. To take this audio event to an even higher level, they captured the video with help of Serato Scratch Live technology in order to manually scratch the clips of themselves and others to the tune. Feagins was recently awarded first place in the Atlanta Film Festival Short Cuts Film Contest sponsored by Creative Loafing in not only the critics’ choice category, but the viewers’ choice as well, for his short documentary entitled Underexposed: Indie Hip-Hop in Atlanta. Clan Destined’s latest LP, Self Titled, was also given heavy praise in Creative Loafing last year, receiving a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.
