Right before releasing his next project Sunday School, Tree’s back with one of the many Gutter City Ent. songs on Dripped Up presented by Drank & Dank. Every Nigga Is A Star was already featured in The Fader which said: “This SC-produced track from Chicago’s Tree comes from Drank N Dank’s new Dripped Up compilation. The double-disc download is reminiscent of cracking open a copy of Murder Dog magazine a decade ago, bringing to life an underground scene otherwise ignored. “Every Nigga is a Star,” named for its obscure blaxploitation soundtrack sample, takes a more traditional tack than the typical Tree song. But it’s an affecting one, with an inspirational message grounded by biographical details about his life growing up in Cabrini Green.”
