This Tree produced track (which is a perfect example of his unique sound which has been labeled “Soul Trap”) features the Gutter City General linking up with fellow Chicago rising star Young Giftz. He also pulls hook duty on the song, on which The Fader had this to say: ” Giftz scored a beat and verse from Tree. The cracked-retro production on “Nino” might seem out of step for the rapper, but Tree is one of the few artists who can successfully bridge those worlds with ease. The production here is deceptively nuanced, with some energetic drum programming, and Giftz adapts easily to its weird universe.”
