Nico the Beast “Lost Sessions Vol 1”

In growing anticipation of the Nico the Beast/ Vanderslice “True to Form” EP dropping May 27th, we present Lost Sessions Volume 1. Comprised of five unreleased tracks from his original rendition of 2008’s Dinner is Served mixtape, Nico the Beast goes in over a handful of classic beats, including Common’s “The Game” and Outkast’s “2DopeBoyzinaCadillac”. Recorded prior to the despairing tragedies that influenced the content and tone of his subsequent releases, Nico focuses on simply impressing bar after bar, serving as a retrospective prelude for his return to grassroots hip-hop on True to Form.
