E-40 called in to Shade 45’s “All Out Show” for Throwback Thursday to talk about his 1995 album, “In A Major Way”. He spoke to Rude Jude and Lord Sear about coining the term “mob music” and it’s definition: musically orchestrated bass-lines. He also spoke about his favorite tracks on the album including “Sidewaysâ€, where even the clean version couldn’t get radio play, and “It’s All Bad”, where Droop-E was only 5 or 6 years old. He reflected on being in the LA studio with Tupac, Mac Mall, and Mike Mosely for “Dusted ‘N’ Disgusted” with Pac writing his verse in 15 minutes; while rolling and drinking. Before leaving, he set the record straight by saying, despite success with his current single “Function”, he was featured on Celly Cel’s original “Function” in 1997.
