This is Collin McLoughlin’s cover based around One Republic’s next single, “If I lose Myself.” This cover was reproduced, rearranged, recorded, and mixed by Collin in his apartment in NYC, and the video was directed, produced and edited by Colin Kelly (http://vimeo.com/colinkellyvisual) The style of the cover is one exemplified in Collin’s side project, through his alias called Tears of Tempo, in the vein of dream step or melodic dubstep.
I’ve been super busy producing my new EP and my side project, “Tears of Tempo,” and this newest cover exempilfies the side project’s sound, in the vein of acts like Adventure Club / Blackmill / Seven Lions / Rameses B. I produced it, mixed it, recorded and re arranged it in my apt, and I hope you guys like the new direction this side project is headed in. More original music coming asap, including my own EP and this new Tears of Tempo side project.
