MC Bravado “Pretty Little Love Song” [VIDEO]

“Pretty Little Love Song” is the latest release from Cypher Junkies’ member MC Bravado. The song and accompanying video (shot, directed, and edited by Andrew Bryan of Fill in the Brand) give the listener a voyeuristic view of a particularly messy break-up’s aftermath. It’s a trip down memory lane that was probably best left unseen, but airing dirty laundry with a passionately reckless abandon and snarky wit is well within MC B’s comfort zone. The song features Intuition’s “Buzzkill” instrumental (produced by Equalibrum) and is the single for MC Bravado’s forthcoming “The Darwin Files: Volume 1,” a 25 song behemoth of a mixtape that can be had for free download on May 14th via MCBravado.Bandcamp.com.

In addition to the brand new mixtape, in a tad more than one year’s time, the Rapper/English teacher has also dropped a well-received debut album (“The Illy-ad”, featuring work from the likes of Copywrite, Mac Lethal, KONCEPT of the Brown Bag All-Stars, EP of the Doppelgangaz and more), and an acclaimed FreEP (“Dope Perspective”, a joint effort with fellow Cypher Junkies’ member C-Nature that features production from J57 and more). MC B has also been featured in a positive light on prominent hip-hop sites such as 2DopeBoyz, I Still Love H.E.R., Kevin Nottingham, and many others. With publishing deals in the fold, solo management from Triple 8 Music, and his group’s recent signing with Brooklyn’s Elitetisc Records, the rapid upward trajectory of the self-proclaimed “Rap Bob Dylan” continues.”
