Remains “Scripts” [VIDEO] x “Ei8hty Se7en” [MIXTAPE]

In October of 2012 after Boston producer Lightfoot sent several beats to Philly rapper Milicia. From there, it didn’t take long for the artists to recognize a chemistry, and they began work as the collective “Remains”. They have completed their debut EP “Ei8hty Se7en” a sample-free 10 track project released on AR Classic Records with an obvious boom bap influence mixed in with a contemporary synth driven sound, which you can stream below, accompanied by their video for track “Scripts”.

While “Remains” is a new collaboration for both artists, Milicia and Lightfoot have been at work building their own paths. With projects like “Ender’s” and “The Bedroom Tape”, Milicia’s buzz has been growing as he continues to put out music. Lightfoot is coming off his debut instrumental release “The Rudimentals”. Milicia’s slick rhymes and edgy style, and Lightfoot’s eccentric production makes “Remains” a unique sound, fit for a wide range of listeners.
