Harn SOLO “Perfect Picture” [REVIEW]

PerfectPicture2-cover

LeftoverCake.com fan favorite, rapper and NOLA staple Harn SOLO delivers once again with his sixth album release, “Perfect Picture”, which made its debut on October 1st. Featuring 10 solid tracks supported by solid production from CZA of Crescent Kings Productions with some co-production from Pro Prospek and a few key guest appearances, “Perfect Picture” is a classic that is not to be slept on…

With his slick nostalgic 90’s flow, SOLO manages to soak up the spotlight with this project and he’s more than qualified to do so… Despite shining brightly on his own, he calls upon his boys Lyriqs da Lyraciss and Caliobzvr for a couple of joints and that’s it. No worries though, these dudes did their best to make their presence known.

From the minute the beat drops on the opening track “So Cold” to the final snare on “Colors x Shapes”, Harn SOLO does his best to putt on for his hometown. One of my favorite tracks, the “Louis Armstrong” he proves New Orleans is more than Mardi Gras, beads and boobs — it’s about the culture of music and arts that the rest of this country so greatly reveres…

Showing the world that hip hop is far from dead, Harn SOLO takes it even further and proves that she never even left… she just maintains a summer residence in Louisiana!!
